SPIDER-MAN LOOKALIKES, BATMAN IMPERSONATORS... WHAT?!

A little birdie told me that ‘Spider-Man impersonators’ or ‘Spider-Man lookalikes’ is what people search to find our services. If you are one of them I don’t blame you for a second -they seem to be quite common terms. But think about it….
THE ISSUE
‘Impersonators’ or ‘lookalikes’ very strongly implies that somewhere out there, is a real one. Which leads me to the existential question: WHO IS THE REAL SPIDER-MAN? Tom Holland? Andrew Garfield? Me? To the best of my knowledge we’re all just actors from England. Isn’t Spider-Man from New York?
HAMLET IMPERSONATORS
Do you go to Shakespeare’s Globe to see a Hamlet impersonator or an Othello lookalike? Yes, that is how pretentious I’m willing to get on this topic. I won’t advertise our brilliant actors as impersonators or lookalikes so for the sake of search engines I’m ranting about it in this blog!
AS REAL AS ‘THE REAL’ ONES
So…our Batman impersonators are simply actors playing Batman. Our Spider-Man lookalikes (given he wears a full face mask this term is even more ludicrous) are actors playing Spider-Man. When you take the performing characters as seriously as we do, we’re just as real as ‘the real’ ones…BUT MUCH LOWER PAID!
& DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE TERM MASCOTS!
